Our team of highly motived, experienced and qualified staff are the key to providing our safe, secure and stimulating learning environment where the children can fulfil their potential.
At St Andrew's we operate a keyworker system. Every child is given a keyworker when they start at the setting. The bond between them is nurtured early on through a series of stay and play session's during our admission process, and continues to develop through the daily routines and opportunities for interaction.
The whole team is dedicated to the development and well-being of the children within our care.
All staff are paediatric first aid trained and complete training on Safeguarding children. Every member of our team has a current DBS check.
Our strong staff ratios have a very positive impact on our setting. We operate at least a 1:4 ratio for our 2 year olds and 1:6 for our 3 and 4 year olds.
Staff hold a variety of childcare qualifications, which include Level 3 NVQ, Level 2 Diploma in Children and Young Persons Workforce and NNEB.
Every member of staff attends regular on-going training to continue their professional development.
All staff recognises the importance of working in partnership with parents: we value, and actively seek the contributions parents make towards the care and education of their child. We welcome your input so that we can always improve the provision, which in turn will enable is to ensure that you and your child has an enjoyable experience with us at St Andrew's.
